Jee Young Lee, l’artista fotografa che può fare a meno di Photoshop

Jee Young Lee è un’artista coreana che crea scene altamente elaborate e creative il cui allestimento richiede una enorme quantità di tempo e di pazienza.

Questo lavoro certosino permette all’artista di creare composizioni oniriche e fiabesche, ricche di stimoli, colori, forme, e spesso drammatiche, il tutto senza ricorrere a nessun tipo di elaborazione al computer. L’artista si confina nel suo studio di pochi metri quadri (diciamo metri cubi, in effetti le sue opere “vivono” nella tridimensionalità dello spazio) per creare questi mondi che superano ogni logica reale.

All’interno di ogni set si può notare l’artista stessa, come se questi fossero autoscatti non convenzionali.
