The concept of Micro stock, does not refer to something that has to do with the microscopic photograph, but it represents a new trend on the photography scene, fueled mainly by the advent of the internet. Hello Piero, microstock sites are fairly simple and transparent. Upload your photos and, if approved, are put on display for sale. Once they reach a certain level you get paid.
The images after their sale remain yours, unless the site does not offer the opportunity to buy Extended license, and if so, They come to cost much more (even 25 $).

I'm not sure that they do not accept illustrations made by hand, you should try to inform you, perhaps by sending them an email.
The only thought that comes to me is whether or not worth the trouble to create illustrations by hand, which I think require a substantial amount of time and resources (but I am a layman in the field and maybe I can answer that in 30 minutes achieves a spending plan 10 cents).
